Here is just one story of how your donations really do make a difference in the lives of the dogs we save together:

Found alone, starving, and in late-term pregnancy, Mia came to us in September. Upon hearing reports that Mia had been living on her own for over two months in a heavily wooded area, a partner was able to trap her and transport her to us. Within days of arriving at her TRU Rescue foster home in Maryland, Mia went into labor.

However, it was clear that Mia was in trouble and needed urgent medical attention. Her foster rushed her to the vet, and there an emergency c-section saved five lives – Mia, who surely would have died, and her four puppies. If TRU did not have the resources to help Mia, she would have suffered horribly and died along with her puppies.

Now, Mia and her pups are healthy and thriving in a devoted foster home, ready to bless five families as loving companions.
